Calvin E. Gardner, MAI, President – Has over 18 years of real estate appraisal experience in Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida, with an emphasis in real estate, finance, art, history, and architecture. Mr. Gardner studied four years of at the University of Florida in the Architecture College. Mr. Gardner began his career in Orlando with the firm of Pardue, Hied, Church, Smith & Waller, Inc., and was the manager of the litigation and condemnation department. Mr. Gardner started Gardner Consulting Services, Inc., in February of 1999. In February of 2003, Gardner Consulting Services, Inc., became an original Managing Member of Rex, Pinel, Gardner & Williams, LLC. (RPG&W). Currently their offices include approximately 15 appraisers plus staff, and are located in downtown Orlando, Orange County, Florida. Mr. Gardner has been in the Appraisal Institute for 15 years, and holds their highest designation of MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute). Mr. Gardner has been active in commercial and residential real estate, including appraisals and brokerage services. Over the last few years, Mr. Gardner has focused on special use properties, as well as well as basic property types like retail, industrial and office properties. Mr. Gardner has always been active with subdivision analysis for residential development, but has also established a residential business under the Rex, Pinel, Gardner & Williams, LLC., company.
Michael P. McCarthy, Associate Appraiser – has been appraising real estate in the Central Florida Market area for over two years with Gardner Consulting Services, Inc.. Prior to that, Mr. McCarthy was involved in the acquisition and leasing of cell tower sites. Mr. McCarthy has a Bachelor of Arts from Hendrix College, Arkansas, and a Jurist Doctorate Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. McCarthy was an Assistant Attorney General to the Arkansas Attorney General, until he left to become a wireless communications real estate consultant. Mr. McCarthy performs commercial appraisal assignments, but also conducts consulting for real estate acquisitions and development.
Laurie E. Ciccarone, Associate Appraiser - has been with Gardner Consulting Services for over one year, and performs both residential and general commercial appraisal services. Mrs. Ciccarone is a graduate of Florida State University, with a degree in Bachelor of Music Education, and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Edison Community College in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Robert (Bob) Mauer, Associate Appraiser – is a recent addition to Gardner Consulting Services, and performs commercial appraisal assignments. Mr. Mauer is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Studies, with a minor in Business. Mr. Mauer comes to us from the telecommunications industry.
Gardner Consulting Services, Inc., is a Managing Member of Rex, Pinel Gardner and Williams, LLC. The principals are all presidents of appraisal companies, including Randal Rex, MAI, with Rex-McGill, Inc., Tommy Pinel, SCGA, with Pinel Appraisal Services, Inc., Calvin E. Gardner, MAI, with Gardner Consulting Services, Inc., and Daryl Williams, MAI, with Agriappraisal, Inc.
